Residential English Medium School (Ushodaya)

Evolution

It is in fact a part of the function of education to help us escape, not from our own time -- for we are bound by that -- but from the intellectual and emotional limitations of our time. T.S. Eliot
A school imparting good education has a place everywhere. Though CBSE schools are valued more and are considered to be good, they are generally found only in cities and to some extent in towns. They are rarely established in rural areas.

Our founders envisioned establishing a school that would cater to the needs of children from the villages surrounding chetana, providing quality education in English Medium, at an affordable cost and with the additional benefit of it being a CBSE school.

USHODAYA (rising sun), a coeducational English Medium school was thus promoted as a part of Chetana Project. The same values and principles that the two schools (at Brodipet and Syamalanagar) run by Sree Venkateswara Bala Kuteer Educational Society, the parent organisation behind Chetana, are well known for, were contemplated to be adhered to and followed in running Ushodaya.

What's amazing is, if young people understood how doing well in school makes the rest of their life so much interesting, they would be more motivated. It's so far away in time that they can't appreciate what it means for their whole life. Bill Gates

Facility

Distinctly Designed Class rooms

A class room is the place where a child spends most of the time within the school. Making the best use of the time so spent by the child requires both the child and the teacher to pay attention on each other so that the teacher gets a proper feedback of how effective the class being conducted is and the child gets to concentrate on what is being taught.

To enable this, class rooms are constructed in an octagonal shape so as to make all the children feel like being within a close knit group and being able to pay attention to what the teacher says.
